การประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน และการประชุมสุดยอดที่เกี่ยวข้องในวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2568 เปิดฉากด้วยการประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน - สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ครั้งที่ 26 (26th ASEAN–Republic of Korea Summit)การประชุมในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้การเป็นประธานร่วมระหว่างนายอันวาร์ อิบราฮิม นายกรัฐมนตรีมาเลเซีย ในฐานะ ประธานอาเซียนประจำปี 2568 และ นายอี แช มย็อง (H.E. Mr. Lee Jae Myung) ประธานาธิบดีแห่งสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี

ประธานร่วมทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นที่จะยกระดับความสัมพันธ์อาเซียน–เกาหลีใต้สู่ความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์รอบด้าน (Comprehensive Strategic Partnership) ภายใต้กรอบ “Korea–ASEAN Solidarity Initiative (KASI)” เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาในยุคใหม่ โดยที่ประชุมมีประเด็นสำคัญของการหารือ ได้แก่

1. การส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้าน นวัตกรรม เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และสตาร์ทอัพ

2. การสนับสนุน การเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานสะอาด (Energy Transition) และการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจคาร์บอนต่ำ

3. การเสริมสร้าง การแลกเปลี่ยนเยาวชน การศึกษา และวัฒนธรรม เพื่อเชื่อมโยงประชาชนระหว่างกัน

4. การยืนยันบทบาทของ อาเซียนในฐานะแกนกลาง (ASEAN Centrality) ในความร่วมมือภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออก

ที่ประชุมยังได้หารือแนวทางจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติการอาเซียน – เกาหลีใต้ ระยะปี 2026 – 2030 (Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN–ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership) เพื่อกำหนดทิศทางความร่วมมือในอีกห้าปีข้างหน้า

สำหรับประเทศไทย นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย กล่าวว่า การประชุมนี้เป็นโอกาสสำคัญของไทยและอาเซียนในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือกับเกาหลีใต้ โดยเฉพาะด้าน นวัตกรรมดิจิทัล เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว และการพัฒนาเยาวชน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG Economy Model ที่ไทยผลักดันในระดับอาเซียน

การประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน - สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ครั้งที่ 26 ดำเนินไปด้วยบรรยากาศแห่งมิตรภาพและความร่วมมือ โดยผู้นำอาเซียนและเกาหลีใต้จะออก แถลงการณ์ร่วม (Joint Statement) เพื่อยืนยันแนวทางการดำเนินความร่วมมือในระยะต่อไปหลังเสร็จสิ้นการประชุม

ASEAN Summit Day 2 Takes Off with the 26th ASEAN–Republic of Korea Summit, Strengthening New-Era Cooperation on Innovation, Energy, and Youth

The series of ASEAN Summits and related meetings on 27 October 2025 began with the 26th ASEAN–Republic of Korea (ROK) Summit, co-chaired by Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as ASEAN Chair for 2025, and President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea.

Both Co-Chairs reaffirmed their commitment to elevating ASEAN–ROK relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) under the Korea–ASEAN Solidarity Initiative (KASI), driving cooperation into a new era of development. Key areas of discussion included:

1. Promoting cooperation in innovation, digital technology, and startups

2. Supporting the clean energy transition and low-carbon economic development

3. Enhancing youth exchange, education, and cultural connectivity between peoples

4. Reaffirming ASEAN Centrality in the regional cooperation architecture of East Asia

The meeting also discussed the formulation of the Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN–ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2026–2030), which will guide cooperation for the next five years.

For Thailand, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul emphasized that this meeting serves as an important opportunity for Thailand and ASEAN to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Korea, particularly in digital innovation, green economy, and youth development, aligning with Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model being promoted at the ASEAN level.

The 26th ASEAN–Republic of Korea Summit took place in an atmosphere of friendship and partnership, with ASEAN and Korean leaders set to issue a Joint Statement reaffirming their shared vision and future cooperation.
