นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย เข้าร่วมประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน - นิวซีแลนด์ สมัยพิเศษ ในโอกาสครบรอบ 50 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์หุ้นส่วนยุทธศาสตร์แบบรอบด้าน พร้อมเสนอแนวทางความร่วมมือ 3 ด้าน ได้แก่

ด้านความมั่นคง: ร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงทางทะเล ปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ บริหารจัดการภัยพิบัติ สร้างความมั่นคงด้านสาธารณสุข รวมทั้งให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านมนุษยธรรมในเมียนมา เพื่อส่งเสริมสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อสันติภาพและเสถียรภาพ

ด้านเศรษฐกิจ: เสนอจัดประชุมผู้นำภาคธุรกิจอาเซียน–นิวซีแลนด์ เพื่อขยายความร่วมมือด้านการค้า เชื่อมโยงเศรษฐกิจทั้งทางอากาศและดิจิทัล ส่งเสริมนวัตกรรมสีเขียว รวมทั้งเกษตรกรรมและการท่องเที่ยวที่ยั่งยืน

ด้านประชาชน: เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาและการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ สนับสนุนการจัดตั้งศูนย์อาเซียน–นิวซีแลนด์ (ASEAN–New Zealand Centre) เพื่อเป็นกลไกกลางในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมืออย่างยั่งยืนในอนาคต

Prime Minister Attends ASEAN–New Zealand Commemorative Summit, Proposes Three Areas of Cooperation: “Security – Prosperity – People”

Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul attended the ASEAN–New Zealand Commemorative Summit, marking the 50th anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between ASEAN and New Zealand. He outlined three key areas of cooperation to strengthen ties between the two sides.

Security: Enhance cooperation on maritime security, combat transnational crime, improve disaster management, and strengthen public health security. The Prime Minister also emphasized humanitarian assistance in Myanmar as a means to foster an environment conducive to peace and stability.

Economy: Propose the convening of an ASEAN–New Zealand Business Leaders Meeting to expand trade and investment cooperation, promote connectivity through air and digital linkages, and advance green innovation, sustainable agriculture, and eco-friendly tourism.

People: Promote cooperation in education and human resource development, particularly among youth, and support the establishment of an ASEAN–New Zealand Centre as a central mechanism to drive sustainable and long-term collaboration in the future.
