PM Thanks Chinese Ambassador for Strengthening Ties – New Panda Expected!

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra extended her gratitude to Chinese Ambassador Han Zhiqiang, whose term in Thailand has come to an end, expressing confidence in the arrival of a new pair of pandas.

Meanwhile, Commerce Minister Phichai revealed that Thai exports to China — especially durians, rice, and cassava — have grown exponentially. Thailand and China will also celebrate 50 years of diplomatic ties next year.

China reiterated its strong commitment to boosting Chinese investment and tourism in Thailand, along with enhanced trade facilitation.
