ไทยเคาะแล้ว พิธีเปิด-ปิด ซีเกมส์ 2025 ย้ายไปจัดสนามราชมังคลากีฬาสถาน

ประเทศไทยได้ตัดสินใจย้ายพิธีเปิดและปิดการแข่งขันกีฬาซีเกมส์ครั้งที่ 33 จากสนามหลวงไปจัดที่สนามราชมังคลากีฬาสถาน โดยอ้างเหตุผลด้านความปลอดภัยของนักกีฬาท่ามกลางสถานการณ์ความตึงเครียดทางการเมืองในขณะนี้ การตัดสินใจดังกล่าวเกิดขึ้นในการประชุมครั้งที่ 5 ของคณะกรรมการจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาซีเกมส์และอาเซียนพาราเกมส์ ซึ่งมีนายสรวงศ์ เทียนทอง รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา เป็นประธาน

แม้ว่าสนามหลวงจะไม่ใช้เป็นสถานที่จัดพิธีหลัก แต่ยังคงเป็นสถานที่จัดพิธีจุดคบเพลิงสำหรับการแข่งขันซีเกมส์ ในส่วนของการแข่งขันอาเซียนพาราเกมส์ครั้งที่ 13 พิธีเปิดและปิดจะจัดขึ้นที่ศูนย์กีฬาเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 80 พรรษา จังหวัดนครราชสีมา โดยพิธีจุดคบเพลิงจะมีขึ้นที่ลานอนุสาวรีย์ท้าวสุรนารี

คณะกรรมการยังอนุมัติข้อเสนอในการยกเว้นค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันให้กับนักกีฬาและเจ้าหน้าที่จากเมียนมาได้สูงสุดถึง 450 คน โดยมีเงื่อนไขว่าเมียนมาต้องส่งผู้เข้าร่วมแข่งขันรวมอย่างน้อย 850 คน

นอกจากนี้ ในที่ประชุมยังมีการหารือถึงความกังวลเกี่ยวกับการเข้าร่วมของกัมพูชา ท่ามกลางความตึงเครียดบริเวณชายแดน โดยตัวแทนจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแนะนำให้รอดูผลการประชุมคณะกรรมการชายแดนทั่วไป (GBC) ก่อนที่จะตัดสินใจเกี่ยวกับการส่งตัวแทนกัมพูชาเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน

Thailand Moves 2025 SEA Games Ceremonies to Rajamangala Stadium

Thailand has officially moved the opening and closing ceremonies of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games from Sanam Luang to Rajamangala National Stadium, citing athlete safety amid ongoing political tensions. The decision was made during the fifth meeting of the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games Organizing Committee, chaired by Tourism and Sports Minister Sorawong Thienthong.

While Sanam Luang will no longer host the main events, it will still serve as the site for the SEA Games torch-lighting ceremony. For the 13th ASEAN Para Games, the opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the 80th Birthday Anniversary Sports Complex in Nakhon Ratchasima province, with the torch-lighting set for Thao Suranari Monument Plaza.

The committee also approved a proposal to waive participation-related costs for up to 450 athletes and officials from Myanmar, provided the country sends at least 850 participants in total.

Concerns surrounding Cambodia’s participation were raised during the meeting, amid heightened border tensions. A representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised holding off on any decisions related to the Cambodian delegation until after the General Border Committee (GBC) meeting concludes.
