วันแม่ของ 10 ชาติอาเซียน

วันแม่เป็นวันที่แต่ละประเทศกำหนดขึ้นเพื่อยกย่องและระลึกถึงพระคุณของมารดา รวมถึงเป็นโอกาสให้ลูก ๆ ได้แสดงความรัก ความกตัญญูต่อผู้ให้กำเนิด แม้จะมีวันและวิธีการเฉลิมฉลองแตกต่างกันไปในแต่ละประเทศ แต่หัวใจของวันแม่คือความรักอันยิ่งใหญ่ที่แม่มีต่อลูก ซึ่งหลายประเทศในอาเซียนก็กำหนดวันแม่ของตนเองไว้เช่นกัน

ไทย – 12 สิงหาคม (ตรงกับวันเฉลิมฉลองพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระราชชนนีพันปีหลวง)

ลาว – 8 มีนาคม (วันสตรีสากล / วันแม่หญิงสากล)

เวียดนาม – 8 มีนาคม (เทศกาลสำคัญทางพุทธ ขอพรให้แม่สุขภาพแข็งแรง)

อินโดนีเซีย – 22 ธันวาคม (วันเฉลิมฉลองจิตวิญญาณสตรีอินโดนีเซีย)

สิงคโปร์ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนพฤษภาคม

มาเลเซีย – วันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนพฤษภาคม

ฟิลิปปินส์ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนพฤษภาคม

บรูไน – วันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนพฤษภาคม

กัมพูชา – วันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนพฤษภาคม

เมียนมา – วันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนพฤษภาคม

Mother’s Day in 10 ASEAN Countries

Mother’s Day is a date designated by each country to honor and remember the love and devotion of mothers. It is also an opportunity for children to express their love and gratitude to the one who gave them life. Although the dates and customs vary from country to country, the heart of Mother’s Day remains the same—the boundless love a mother has for her child. Many ASEAN countries have also established their own Mother’s Day celebrations.

Thailand – August 12 (the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother's birthday)

Laos – March 8 (International Women’s Day / Lao Mother’s Day)

Vietnam – March 8 (A significant Buddhist festival, with prayers for mothers’ good health)

Indonesia – December 22 (Commemoration of the Spirit of Indonesian Women)

Singapore – Second Sunday of May

Malaysia – Second Sunday of May

Philippines – Second Sunday of May

Brunei – Second Sunday of May

Cambodia – Second Sunday of May

Myanmar – Second Sunday of May
