The Sports Authority of Thailand, unveiled the new version of “The San”, the official mascot for the 2025 SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games. The redesign aims to make the mascot more memorable, inclusive, and truly representative of Thai identity.
From “7 Days, 7 Colors” to “One Thai Identity”
Originally, “The San” consisted of seven mascots—five for the SEA Games and two for the ASEAN Para Games—under the concept of “7 Days, 7 Colors,” symbolizing Thai wisdom through woven patterns.
The new version of “The San” has been streamlined into one mascot for the SEA Games and one for the ASEAN Para Games, making it easier to remember and representing ASEAN unity. The design prominently incorporates the colors of the Thai national flag to reflect national pride.
The updated “The San” will serve as the official mascot at medal ceremonies and main events throughout the competitions. Meanwhile, the original “7 Days, 7 Colors” mascots will continue to be produced as souvenirs and merchandise, bringing fun and delight to children and the public.
“The new San is not just a mascot for the SEA Games—it is a true representation of Thai identity, proudly stepping onto the ASEAN and global stage.”
