ฟิลิปปินส์ ในฐานะประธานอาเซียน ปี 2569 ซึ่งจะเริ่มดำรงตำแหน่งอย่างเป็นทางการในเดือนมกราคม 2569 ได้เปิดตัวสัญลักษณ์ประธานอาเซียนประจำปี 2569 อย่างเป็นทางการแล้ว

สัญลักษณ์นี้ถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อสะท้อนเอกลักษณ์ของภูมิภาคอาเซียน การรวมตัวของประเทศสมาชิก และความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันในการสร้างความเจริญก้าวหน้าและความมั่นคงให้กับภูมิภาค

สัญลักษณ์ประธานอาเซียนปี 2569 ประกอบด้วย 4 ส่วนสำคัญ ซึ่งแต่ละส่วนมีความหมายซ่อนอยู่ ดังนี้

1. เรือ Balangay (Balangay)

ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากเรือ Balangay เรือใบดั้งเดิมของฟิลิปปินส์ ซึ่งสื่อถึงการเดินทางของอาเซียน ซึ่งเป็นการรวมตัวของหลายประเทศที่มีเอกลักษณ์ต่างกัน แต่เดินหน้าไปพร้อมกันได้บนเรือลำเดียวกัน

นอกจากนี้ คำว่า Barangay ซึ่งหมายถึงหน่วยปกครองเล็กที่สุดของฟิลิปปินส์ก็มีรากคำศัพท์มาจาก Balangay

2. รวงข้าว (Rice Stalk)

เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของอาหารและความอุดมสมบูรณ์ แสดงถึงความมุ่งมั่นของอาเซียนในการสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหาร เมล็ดข้าวแต่ละเมล็ดแทนประเทศสมาชิก และเมล็ดที่ 11 สื่อถึงการเข้าร่วมของติมอร์ - เลสเต

3. ลายสาน (Weave Pattern)

สื่อถึงพลังที่เกิดจากการเชื่อมโยงกัน สะท้อนการหลอมรวมของวัฒนธรรม ค่านิยม และความมุ่งหวังที่หลากหลาย ซึ่งเมื่อมาประกอบกันแล้วก็เสริมสร้างความเป็นเอกภาพและความก้าวหน้าร่วมของอาเซียน

4. คลื่น (Wave)

สื่อถึงความมั่นคงและความร่วมมือทางทะเล และยังสะท้อนความหมายของผืนน้ำที่เชื่อมต่อประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนเข้าด้วยกัน

As the incoming ASEAN Chair for 2026, set to assume the role officially in January 2026, the Philippines has unveiled its official Chairmanship logo. The design reflects the identity of the ASEAN region, the unity among Member States, and the shared commitment to fostering progress and stability across the region.

The 2026 ASEAN Chairmanship logo consists of four key elements, each carrying its own significance and representing the spirit of ASEAN.

1. Balangay

Inspired by the traditional Filipino boat called the Balangay, this is the essence of ASEAN's journey - many nations, each with their own unique character, moving forward together aboard a single vessel. From balangay, the word Barangay was derived and represents the Philippines' smallest government unit.

2. Rice Stalk

A symbol of nourishment and abundance, the rice stalk reflects ASEAN'S comitment to food security - each grain representing a Member State, with the 11th marking Timor-Leste's entry into the Community

3. Weave Pattern

Embodies the strength found in interconnection. It reflects the coming together of cultures, values, and aspirations; distinct threads bound by a shared purpose, forming a vibrant tapestry of unity and collective progess.

4. Wave

Signifies maritime security and cooperation. It echoes the waters that physically connect ASEAN Member States.
