ไทย – ฟิลิปปินส์ กระชับความร่วมมือเศรษฐกิจ ปราบอาชญากรรมออนไลน์

เมื่อวันที่ 28 มกราคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้หารือทวิภาคีกับนางสาวมาเรีย เทเรซ่า พี. ลาซาโร่ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์ ในห้วงการประชุมรัฐมนตรีต่างประเทศอาเซียนอย่างไม่เป็นทางการ ณ เมืองเซบู สาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์

ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะส่งเสริมการเยือนระดับสูงในปีนี้ และเพิ่มพูนความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ อาทิ ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร และการสนับสนุนภาคเอกชนไทยในฟิลิปปินส์ รวมทั้งผลักดันความร่วมมือในระดับอาเซียนเพื่อปราบปรามอาชญากรรมออนไลน์ ซึ่งเป็นภัยคุกคามร่วมกันของประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน

นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค อาทิ สถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา พัฒนาการในเมียนมาภายหลังการเลือกตั้ง และประเด็นทะเลจีนใต้

Thailand, Philippines Strengthen Economic Ties and Fight Online Crime

On 28 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, held a bilateral meeting with Ms. Maria Theresa P. Lazaro, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Cebu, the Philippines.

Both sides agreed to promote high-level visits in 2026 and enhance economic cooperation, including in the areas of food security and support for Thai private sector businesses in the Philippines. They also agreed to strengthen ASEAN cooperation in combating online scams, which pose a common threat to all ASEAN Member States.

In addition, both sides exchanged views on regional issues, including the Thailand–Cambodia border situation, developments in Myanmar following the elections, and the South China Sea.
