ไทย – ลาว หารือ ด้านพลังงานและโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน เชื่อมโยงสองประเทศ

วันที่ 29 มกราคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ หารือทวิภาคีในช่วงการประชุมรัฐมนตรีต่างประเทศอย่างไม่เป็นทางการกับนายทองสะหวัน พมวิหาน รัฐมนตรีกระทรวงต่างประเทศ สปป. ลาว ณ เมืองเซบู สาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีที่ได้เห็นความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทย – ลาว มีความเข้มแข็งและใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น และได้หารือใน 3 ประเด็นสำคัญ ดังนี้

• การเตรียมการเยือนระดับสูงในอนาคต

• ความร่วมมือด้านพลังงาน

• การจัดทำโครงการเชื่อมโยงความสัมพันธ์ที่สำคัญต่าง ๆ อาทิ โครงการก่อสร้างสะพานรถไฟแห่งใหม่ที่จังหวัดหนองคาย - เวียงจันทน์ และ ข้อเสนอโครงการก่อสร้างสะพานมิตรภาพไทย - ลาว แห่งที่ 6 (อุบลราชธานี-สาละวัน)

ทั้งนี้ รัฐมนตรีทั้งสองท่านได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา และพัฒนาการของเมียนมาภายหลังการเลือกตั้ง

Thailand–Lao PDR Discuss Energy and Infrastructure Connectivity

On 29 January 2026, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Thongphavanh Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Informal Meeting in Cebu, Republic of the Philippines.

Both ministers welcomed the continued strengthening and growing closeness of Thailand–Lao PDR relations. On this occasion, they discussed three key issues, as follows:

• Preparations for future high-level visits

• Energy cooperation

• The development of key connectivity projects, including the construction of a new railway bridge linking Nong Khai Province and Vientiane, as well as the proposed construction of the Sixth Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge (Ubon Ratchathani–Salavan).

The two ministers also exchanged views on the Thailand–Cambodia border situation and developments in Myanmar following the election.
