ไทยย้ำบทบาทอาเซียน เสริมมั่นคงพลังงาน อาหาร และความปลอดภัย รับมือความท้าทายโลก

วันนี้ (8 พ.ค.69) เวลา 10.15 น. (ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นฟิลิปปินส์) นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรีและ รมว.มหาดไทย เข้าร่วมประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียนครั้งที่ 48 แบบเต็มคณะ (Plenary) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Navigating Our Future, Together”

นายกฯ ระบุว่า ช่วงเวลานี้โลกมีความไม่แน่นอนเพิ่มขึ้น อาเซียนจึงต้องคงความเป็นเอกภาพ ปรับตัวได้ และมองไปข้างหน้า เพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายนี้ พร้อมเสนอแนวทางให้อาเซียนเสริมสร้างความเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกันมากขึ้น ได้แก่

1. ความมั่นคงทางพลังงาน: เร่งเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือในเชิงปฏิบัติ อาทิ การผลักดันโครงข่ายไฟฟ้าอาเซียน การใช้ประโยชน์จากความตกลงด้านความมั่นคงปิโตรเลียมอาเซียน และการเพิ่มการลงทุนในโครงการพลังงานหมุนเวียน เช่น พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์และเชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพ

2. ด้านความมั่นคงทางอาหาร: ต้นทุนพลังงานและปุ๋ยที่สูงขึ้น ส่งผลกระทบต่อการผลิตและราคาสินค้า อาเซียนจึงควรต่อยอดความร่วมมือที่มีอยู่เพื่อสร้างความมั่นคงด้านอุปทาน และขยายความร่วมมือไปยังสินค้าอุปโภคบริโภคที่จำเป็นอื่น ๆ

3. การคุ้มครองคนชาติอาเซียน: ช่วงสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งในตะวันออกกลาง ไทยได้ตั้งศูนย์ปฏิบัติการเพื่อประสานการอพยพคนไทยหลายพันคนกลับประเทศ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงคุณค่าของความร่วมมือในอาเซียน

นายกฯ กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า ความท้าทายในปัจจุบันมีความเชื่อมโยงกันมากขึ้น อาเซียนจึงต้องพัฒนาแนวทางการสร้างประชาคมให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทโลก โดยประเทศไทยพร้อมทำงานร่วมกับทุกประเทศสมาชิก เพื่อผลักดันให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรม ให้อาเซียนยังคงมีบทบาทสำคัญและมีความเข้มแข็งท่ามกลางโลกที่มีความไม่แน่นอนเพิ่มขึ้น

Thailand Reaffirms ASEAN’s Role in Strengthening Energy, Food, and Security Resilience to Address Global Challenges

Today (8 May 2026) at 10.15 a.m. (local time in the Philippines), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul participated in the 48th ASEAN Summit Plenary Session under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together.”

The Prime Minister stated that the world is facing increasing uncertainty, and ASEAN must therefore remain united, adaptive, and forward-looking in order to effectively address emerging challenges. He proposed that ASEAN further strengthen regional solidarity through the following measures:

1. Energy Security: ASEAN should accelerate practical cooperation, including advancing the ASEAN Power Grid, utilizing the ASEAN Petroleum Security Agreement, and increasing investment in renewable energy projects such as solar energy and biofuels.

2. Food Security: Rising energy and fertilizer costs are affecting production and commodity prices. ASEAN should therefore build upon existing cooperation mechanisms to strengthen supply security and expand collaboration to other essential consumer goods.

3. Protection of ASEAN Nationals: During the conflict situation in the Middle East, Thailand established an operations center to coordinate the evacuation of thousands of Thai nationals back to the country, reflecting the value and importance of ASEAN cooperation.

The Prime Minister further noted that current challenges are increasingly interconnected. ASEAN must therefore continue to develop its community-building approach in line with the evolving global landscape. Thailand stands ready to work closely with all ASEAN Member States to deliver concrete outcomes and ensure that ASEAN remains strong, relevant, and resilient amid growing global uncertainty.
